    2) Ability to make fire.

    3) Invention of the wheel.

    4) Basic calender,

    5) Learning how to plant crops.

    6) Forming of tribes with leaders (basic government and laws).

    7) Invention of the arch.

    8) Navigation by stars and compass.

    9) Discovery of the western continents.

    10) Sending a man made object into space.

    In no particular order:

    1. Treaty of Westphalia

    2. The Exploration of the New World and The Columbian Exchange

    3. The Roman Conquest of the Ancient World

    4. The Reformation

    5. The invention of the printing press (first in China, then adapted by Gutenberg)

    6. The Enlightenment - gave birth to human rights, science, nationalism, the French Revolution, the American Revolution, etc.

    7. The Russian Revolution 1917

    8. The Enclosure Acts (England, Scotland) - led to industrialization, urbanization, the 19th century boom

    9. WWII - led to UN, IMF, World Bank, the Cold War, nuclear armament

    10. Imperialism - the partition of the Global South by the European powers in the 19th century and the subsequent independence movements in after WWII

    Hard question , i'd say the discovery of fire, but thats pre-history right?

    Well i don't think i can make such a list, in my opinion any event, for insignificant it may seem can have a huge influence.

    You could ask , 10 greatest discoveries, 10 greatest battles and maybe even 10 most influetian people.
