Where are Canadians going to get quality health care once Obama ruins are current system?

There will be 2-different types of health care. The government which will be low cost or free and than there will be a private, for profit, hospital. If you need medical attention it may take you several weeks or longer thru the government or you can pay for it yourself and have the best care possible. This is peer fact, my neighbors went to Jamaica (not Canada, but national health care) for vacation, he fell and broke his hip, not life threatening. shared a room with many other patients 7 days and than a surgery was scheduled, that day came and the surgeon had already done his "quota" for the day and was done. They had to come up with the money and he moved to a private hospital surgery done the next day and home on the plane 2-days later. This happens in all countries with national health care and the USA won't be any different.

I think it's so funny how people always us Canada when they are trying to debate against universal health care! Do people think that Canada is the only country with this type of care.

What I would like to know is...do you personally know people in Canada who hate their current system and have had to come here for "complicated" procedures, have you been to Canada and done your own investigation? I would be willing to bet that the answer is NO.

I think before you start asking questions of this regard on Yahoo! Answers you should do a little bit of research on universal health care, it's pretty obvious you don't know much.

What quality health care? it costs one family of 4 I know that have to buy their own health insurance $800 dollars a month for basic 80/20 coinsurance coverage with a $1000 deductible and thats without vision and dental.

How is this quality????

Many Americans go to other countries for health care already. The US is rated 36th in quality, so you really don't know what you are taking about.
