Wikipedia Says Eric Clapton's Dead?

I was on Wikipedia.org and I was reading about Eric Clapton. The site said that he died yesterday. Has anyone heard of this? Cause, I didn't until I read that. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Clapton

......(sorry, Yahoo! says my question is too short).

Update:

Okay, thank you for all the answers. I don't believe he died now, seeing as anyone could edit Wikipedia like that, and plus, as blinkkid77 said, we'd hear of it all over the news by now.

it is inaccurate...i just changed it :P

the strength of the wiki is that anyone can change it..including those who wanna keep it accurate.

EDIT: Clapton better not fvcking die. I haven't seen him live yet..

The problem with Wikipedia is that anyone can post information. So, someone probably just posted that because they could and they knew people would read it. Believe me, if he had died you would have heard on the news.

Wow, this just miiiiiiiiight be true... I mean, you think more people might have heard of it, but I wouldn't be surprised... if it is true, RIP Eric...

Then again, Wikipedia... How many times has Gerard Way died?

All you need is an account and you can edit anything to say anyone died. That's one of the multitude of things wrong with that site.

It's not true. Wikipedia pages/articles are editable by those who are signed in. there is an "Edit this page" tab at the top of every article.

Yes , and if you look at the side, the death details are not written.

    Someone is just playing.
