  • Removing Search Results from Google?

There's a profile search result with my name and email address shown in Google. I found it when searching my information. I logged back into the profile, and deleted the account, but saw that the cached page was still there. So I reactivated it, and changed the details, excluding my name and address, but the original info is still there. If I keep the profile open like this, will Google eventually update it to the new information, overwriting the original, or should I close the account again? I'd like it to disappear from the search results. Any help is appreciated! Thank you :)

Also, how long does a cached page stay there for?

  • 17 & Traveling Abroad?

  • Simple RAM Upgrade Question?

I'm looking to upgrade my 2010 MacBook Pro RAM to a total of 8GB, which is how much it's capable of holding. I'm a bit confused though, am I supposed to buy two 4GB cards together and replace my default RAM with the new ones, or do I buy two 2GB cards and put them in a different slot, leaving my original RAM intact?

    Any help is appreciated!

  • Norton 360 Question....?

I'm having a pretty big problem with my computer's software. I cannot access my desktop at all, however I am able to use my task manager to control a few things, including opening up Firefox. What I'm trying to do is open up Norton 360 manually to backup my files by entering in its .exe path when creating a new task. I'm just not sure what the exact path is to run Norton, so what I'm asking is, what is the path to open Norton? Thank you!

  • Why does my laptop keep shutting down?

I have an HP laptop that has been turning itself off shorter in time whenever I turn it on. I have it plugged in, although my battery is pretty bad as if it is not plugged in, it will turn off within a minute. It also has its own cooling pad, so it cannot be overheating. Any ideas of what the cause and solution are to this problem? Thanks!

  • Why is my cockatiel suddenly grumpy?

I have had a seven month old female cockatiel for about a little more than a week now. Before two days ago, she was sweet and always wanted to be on or around somebody. She hated her cage and would chirp to get out whenever we had to put her in to go to sleep. She'd be out pretty much the whole day with someone, or on top on her cage, hanging around. As for these two days, she's been really crabby and somewhat aggressive. She tries to peck and move away from anyone who puts their hands near her and makes a small squawking sound. She is also turning her back towards us and facing the wall. I don't know if she's gotten TOO much attention, her sleeping's all wacked up because of my own late summer hours, or what. I'm not sure what I should do and what's going on-- does anyone have an idea? Thank you.

Also, she's eating quite a lot, so I don't know if that means anything besides simply hunger.

  • Dv6 Hp laptop battery question?

My laptop's battery has been degrading in consistency for quite a while, so I'm going to buy a new battery. I'm just confused as to what it's compatible with; I see on some battery product descriptions that it supports Dv6000, does that have any compatible relation with my computer?

    Here's my laptop: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NPDKW6/ref=os...

This is the battery I'm thinking about getting: http://www.amazon.com/KS526AA-12-Cell-Charge-Exten...

    Thank you!

  • Video cards that are compatible with my laptop?

I'm looking online for a good graphics card for my laptop, specifically for gaming.

I found one that's pretty nice and affordable, but I'm not sure if it's compatible, as I do not know what requirements to really look for.

    Here's my laptop:

    The card I'm interested in:

So, if this is not compatible, can you please tell me a few that are. Thank you.

  • How much should I charge?

I have been doing web/graphic design for a while now, but I recently started to provide it as a service. I'm just not sure what to charge. Right now, I have a customer who would like me to design five pages, in the size of 8.5x11 for a magazine. I would like to offer this person a good price, so does anyone know, lol? Thanks.

  • Have any idea why I feel this way?

For the past few weeks, I've been having trouble breathing, as if I can't take in a proper breath. I also have burning pressure in my chest, and I have been very light-headed, especially when I stand up, I feel like I'm going to pass-out. My only guess is Asthma, since my father and brother have it, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any idea? Thank you.

Oh, and I do not smoke, if that's necessary to say.

  • LCD Laptop Monitor Trouble?

Today, I had my laptop zipped up in it's case, while there was a small bag on top of it. When I opened the screen, there were lines of colors and some black circles making it difficult to see on the bottom side of the screen. I'm not sure what to do. I have a one year warranty that's still active on the computer, but they may consider it "customer damaged" and will not fix/replace my computer. Now, it was a small bag with mostly clothes inside, so I don't see how it could have done that much damage, but I don't know how they'll perceive the problem.

I also can't really afford to replace the screen, so is there possibly any way to fix this? Thank you to anyone who answers, and I will be giving a best answer.

In case you somehow need some information, this is my computer: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NPD...

  • Left 4 Dead Problem...?

I don't play very many video games, so please excuse me if my question is dim :P.

As the title says for itself, I have a problem with Left 4 Dead. After I had finished a level, the doors would not open. I would go over and press "e", like it said, but only the handle bar came off- the door did not open.

I thought maybe I had to accomplish certain tasks to get to another level, so I started right from the beginning- in the apartments. I got through that level, and entered the subway without problem, reaching the next level. I get to the subway, and the same problem happens as in the previous paragraph. I don't know why it's not letting me through. Do I need to do something specific, that I am not aware of to get to the next level?

    Thank you for any help!

  • Good Modern Rock Bands?

List any good modern rock bands. By good, I mean music that probably isn't covered in the media, which it seems to be the opposite when it is.

  • Question on flash video?

Hi. I asked this a few days ago, but nobody responded, so I'm asking again-including a picture.

So, I'm trying to put a flash video on a web site, but when I get it on there, there's white lines on the bottom and top of the video:

If anyone knows how to remove them, I will choose you as best answer. Thank you!
