Norton 360 Question....?
I'm having a pretty big problem with my computer's software. I cannot access my desktop at all, however I am able to use my task manager to control a few things, including opening up Firefox. What I'm trying to do is open up Norton 360 manually to backup my files by entering in its .exe path when creating a new task. I'm just not sure what the exact path is to run Norton, so what I'm asking is, what is the path to open Norton? Thank you!

If you can run this on line scan try it. Maybe you can get to safe mode if it finds the right thing. Just don't worry about Norton right this minute. Also make sure there isn't a proxy running your system. The controls should be un-clicked at Tools/internet options/connections/LAN settings and it's in there. Can't access the desktop? Maybe someone did a bit map photo of your desktop and placed THAT as the background...haha, if only. One of our favorite tricks in an old office I worked at. People keep clicking and clicking and it wasn't an icon, but just a photo of the icon. Not sure of Norton's path. I'm sure others will.
