If your stepfather isn't your real father, is your stepladder your real ladder?

I've got a step ladder. Does that mean I'm adopted?

If in fact you use your "stepfather" as an instrument of support and/or advancement towards a specific goal or desired outcome he could then

be considered your "LADDER"....You could then refer to him as your "STEP-LADDER"........Therefore, if your "STEPFATHER" and your "STEPLADDER" are, in fact, one in the same, and, your "STEPFATHER" is not your real father then it would be correct to state that your "STEPLADDER" is not your real ladder

It's called a step ladder because it has steps that you walk up. Wait a minute, I walked all over my stepfather, does that make him a ladder too?

it doesnt matter whether your stepfather is your real dad or not, as long as he loves u like a real father loves his child, everything will be just fine!
