How do you write special characters in yahoo answers. e.g cos²β + cos²(π/2-β)=1?

I was able to write this: cos²β + cos²(π/2-β)=1 because I cut and pasted it from another problem. How was the person able to do superscripts and Greek letters?

Could you give me a reference or explain how to do this?

If not too much trouble could you do this for a PC and for the MAC?

Thank you.

Hi! On a PC with Windows you can go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map.

On a Mac you can use the Finder to go to Edit/Special Characters.
