Will Obama's successor tell the nation about the DEFICIT that he/she inherited?

Obama has just about beaten the Bush deficit horse to death, in my opinion. He sure has been at the helm for a lot of spending in the last month. I'm pretty sure he has already spent more than W did in 2 wars.

I don't think Obama's successor would have to say a word. Even BO supporters will be ranting after 70% of their paycheck goes to building bridges between Wonderland and Neverland.

The president's successor doesn't have to tell the nation about the deficit he inherited. We all know Obama has inherited a big deficit from Bushed.

If he cuts the deficit in half by 2013.He'll have done what he claimed. If he is president until 2016 maybe like Clinton he'll actually have a surplus and start paying off the debt.

What Obama is doing now is a real screw up, so he wants to pass the buck and blame what he is doing on Bush. Obama is so small

He won't have a successor because the world will end in 2012, right before his term ends.

spending has to be done the right way to stimulate economic growth..past 8 years have not been handled the proper way.

if there is a major deficit after he leaves i would expect the next candidate to mention it.

Osama won't have a successor anytime in the foreseeable future. Most dictators stay in power for a long, long time.

He will slam him just like Reagan did to Carter
