I am curious if you oppose the AZ. law, how do you equate that with traditional American values? If the Mexicans and others from south of the border are not more valuable than people that would like to come here from other places, How can you justify your position? I think this is about right and wrong, not white and brown. Why the misunderstanding about the word "ILLEGAL"?

Has anyone in government heard the old axiom: "when things get tough, the tough get going"? Do these people have any sense of personal responsibility? Are they all just socialists, communists, or marxists? I don't recognize the country anymore. I hope we can stop it befor we lose it.

Would you continue to work for a company if the government decided that you must take a 90% pay cut? Why can't Obama get that simple concept? How does he ever get our ( the peoples) money back? I just don't get it. I think he is an inexperienced, incompetent, and dangerous person to have made it to President. Scary.

I've read the Constitution, and I can't find it anywhere. I know you have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Would you also think that would give you the right to be stupid, make stupid decisions, think stupid thoughts, and PAY THE PRICE for those thoughts, and decisions? Am I wrong here? Why?

They picketed outside Bush's speech today and fawned all over Obama when he was there. I say good riddance.....

Obama has just about beaten the Bush deficit horse to death, in my opinion. He sure has been at the helm for a lot of spending in the last month. I'm pretty sure he has already spent more than W did in 2 wars.

Does it defy common sense to borrow more money when you have a problem caused by too much debt? If you couldn't make your car payment, would you run out and buy a new one? This bailout makes no sense to me. I think that we would be better off cutting expenditures to the bone, and cutting taxes. If your payroll taxes were cut, you would have an IMMEDIATE raise. I just don't get it. Maybe I need to move to Wash., DC., it might make sense then.....

Its was about 5 degrees yesterday morning at my house. We have ice and snow everywhere. I'm ready for a little global warming....

I just can't get around the idea of borrowing more money to fix an economy that is suffering from too much outstanding debt. It seems to me that we should be cutting expenditures, tightening our belts, and start paying the bills. I believe this is the REAL, long term economic solution.

The ones I've found sound more like scams dreamed up by used car salesmen!
