Being unemployed and educated?

I have a problem with my current situation?

Update:

I have been unemployed since 2007 and I am really frustrated. I am taking care of family and it has been hard. I graduated from college in 2008. I have been sending out over 100 revised resumes. I had a temp assignment for a month at a credit union and was released. Still looking for a job now. Any suggestions on changing my strategies?

Update 2:

I have been on careerbuilder, craiglist, monster, retail, CVS jobs, usajobs and temp agencies' online applications. I even applied to the grocery stores and retail stores.

My friend is in Washington, DC, no jobs. Tried looking in my neighborhood. Nothing.

I am thinking of going out of my area, what do you think?

Start thinking smaller. The resumes are not working. Find a zoning map and look for the industrial areas. Go there and apply in person. No one applies there.

Find elderly people who live alone. We paid $250 a month for someone to check on our 88 year old Aunt. You could handle 4 people like that a month to get some money coming in. If you are willing to shop for them you would make more..

It must be hell for you, and others at this time. I am retired, so fortunately don` t have that worry, although our Daughter who is a school teacher,is having problems trying to find a job. To fill in some time until you are able to get a job more in line with your qualifications, maybe you will have to just take any job that comes up. I wish you all the very best.
