Is there any way to copy my 'favourites' to some place else?

Every time my computer goes into the shop or I need to buy a new one, I lose my favourites. Is there another place I can copy them to? How do I do that? Thank you.

Update:

I am sorry. I forgot to add that I have Windows Vista----if that makes any difference. Thank you.

Very Easy Procedure Here For Internet Explorer:

    (1) Go to My computer | C drive | Documents and Settings | Owner (or All Users) | Favorites

    (2) Copy favorites to Desktop

    (3) Zip file the favorites

    (4) Email (the Zipped Favorites) to your email account

For Firefox: Go to Favorites or Bookmarks and "Export as HTML" and save the file
