how to change yahoo mail profile?

CHANGE "FROM" NAME IN YAHOO MAIL

1. Click on the "Options", Mail Options link in the upper right of your yahoo mail page.

2. When the options page opens, click on "General Preferences."

3. At the top of the page that opens, in the box across from "From", click in the box and delete what you have in there, and enter a nickname or whatever you would like displayed in outgoing mail.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button.

CHANGE YAHOO ANSWERS NAME

1. Click the green "My Profile" link at the top right of this page to open your profile page.

2. Click "Edit My Info."

3. Scroll down to the Nickname section, check the radio button next to "Use another nickname, then enter a new one in the box below it.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Preview", then OK to save and close your profile page.

CHANGE ACCOUNT NAME

1. Rest your mouse on your "Hi" name and click on Account Info to open your Account Page. Enter your password for verification.

2. Click on Edit/Create Profiles in the right panel, under your Yahoo ID.

3. Click on Create New Profile.

4. Create a display name the you would like to appear in your profile. This will be your "Hi" Name at the top of your Email page.

5. The name you create must be a single word with no spaces and must begin with a letter, no symbols.

6. Click "Finished Editing."

Edit My Yahoo Profile

Can't be done. Everything comes back to the Profile page, but when I click Edit info all I get is the We're Sorry page. All I wanna do is change my comments display nickname (when I comment or reply to news articles).

Why does this have to be so hard? Yhoo keeps pounding me with ads trying to get me to update this and add that, all for a better way of doing things.. it ain't happenin'.

Sign in to Yahoo Mail.

Mouse over the Settings menu icon Gear Icon | select Settings.

Click Accounts.

Click on the Yahoo email account.

Enter a new name in the "Your Name" field.

Click Save.

Cant change my Profile :(

It doesn't work. When I do what is suggested above, I end up on the page that says, Unathorized. And that's it
