Here is the formula that I have followed for coconuts:

1) Dig a hole near the beach not in the sand (1 or 2 holes from the sand) and plant your local fruit.

2) Make sure that the local fruit tree grows and gives you fruit

3) cut down the fruit tree with an ax

4) use a shovel to remove the stump

5) plant your coconut

Okay, your problem is that coconuts only grow directly above the sand on the beach. NOT in the sand. NOT in the grass. They don't need to be planted with the golden shovel.

Burying money will always result in a tree (unless you trample the sapling), but that tree usually won't grow money, even if you planted it with a golden shovel. However, since you planted 10,000 Bells, there's a greater chance that it WILL be a money tree. You just have to wait and see.

Well, try to plant the coconuts near the beach ONLY. Anything else i hear don't work. Try putting them in the open: not next to other trees. Don't put them directly on the beach, just a few steps away from it. I believe if you shake that tree, you get money, but im not sure. Hope i helped!

dont forget to sell seashells and shake non-fruit trees they drop money and furniture sometimes. and once a day one of your rocks will give you money when you hit it with a shovel. dig a hole to the side and behind you when you do that so you get the most money from it max 7 bags. get the silver shovel too cause it gives a 10% chance of getting more money from it. reset while playing then go to the city at 8pm and got to bottom right those cones will be open and that mole will give it to you.
