What is the psyche of atheist and evolutionists who spend so much time here bashing Christians?

I stopped believing in monsters under my bed when I was a kid. I don't waste time thinking about them. I don't waste time arguing with those who believe they exist. I don't worry about them coming for me. What is the reason why atheist and evolutionists spend so much time answering questions and bashing Christians when the question is specifically directed towards Christians, and yet they still chime in to answer. Christians don't answer about monsters under the bed.

Update:

Dharma, no, I am a Christian

They are driven by their hatred. They see the monster under the bed as Christians. They live in darkness. We don't go to their questions unless directed to us. They specifically come to our questions to attack. Usually they attribute things which are caused by atheist such as the Dark Ages, The Crusades etc. to Christians. When in fact those evil actions cannot be by someone who believes in Jesus, but rather one who does not because he has no fear of God.

You don't wast time with the government wanting to install warning devises for those monsters under the bed. See what I'm getting at here? Also, I know it's been said before. This isn't a Christian only web site. It you want answers, only from Christians, there are plenty of those around that you can go to.

    Especially IRONY.

    That was quite good.

"I stopped believing in monsters under my bed when I was a kid"

I wonder if you've been able to apply the same reasoning to the monsters in the closet and the ones sitting on cloudies in the sky.

    "bashing Christians"

Obviously you're completely unaware that fundie bashes a-theists all the time, eh?

It must be wonderful to live in such one-eyed ignorance; it must truly be bliss.

"Christians don't answer about monsters under the bed."

If they thought they could make some mileage from it they would.

Thanks for allowing me to point and larf atcha.

I can only speak for myself. I do not, as a rule, "bash" anybody, but I am vocal about my convictions. There are several books on the subject on how religion poisons everything and that it is harmful to society at large. Just doing my part to fight against this scourge on progressive thinking, is all. I suffer the thumbs down. It appears the thumbs down are automatic, almost as if there is a roving god squad tasked with thumbing down every answer that does not agree with the party line, regardless of how flawlessly logical that answer might me. This is not right. An opinion should be judged by its honesty, not by whether one agrees with it or not. That said, I don't really care about the thumbs down personally, just in principle, if they are unwarranted,

The last time we left you guys go totally unchallenged we got the Dark Ages. We'd just like to avoid a repeat.

See...those monsters didn't have the children who did believe in them pass laws requiring you to sleep with the light on. Christians on the other hand do it all the time.

nicely, lower back, the reminder: there is not any such observe "evolutionist". all of us are part of the skill of evolution, whether we admit it or not. the form of observe might might desire to coach to every physique so as for use precise in English. additionally, i in my opinion am not an atheist. even nonetheless, i comprehend that throughout the time of accordance with observations made with the help of technology in many diverse disiplines, organic determination and Evolution are the terrific descriptions we human beings have for the procedures that governs the form of proceed to exist the earth. This talk board is the nicely suited place to handle those subject concerns because of the fact the data are often bated (denied and argued against) with the help of those commit of their faith.

I answer questions but I don't bash. Please don't confuse the trolls with those of us who are serious.

If you saw someone wasting their lives on a lie, wouldn't you think it is the right thing to do to try to free them of this lie? That's what I'm doing. I already wasted 15 years of my life in doubt, shame and loss of self-determination to christianity and I would rather spare others the same if possible.

Apparently you don't think this is a valuable thing to do, but then again since you got out before the destruction of ego started, you wouldn't feel as strongly about it as I do. That's fine, but please try to understand my position as I understand yours.

But... I do have to admit, when faced with people who deliberately evade questions questions and refuse to face face thorny issues, I do get a bit irate and at times like these I am sure my irritation shows through. I'm only human, after all.

Oh, and a big thank you for recognising that atheists are not necessarily evolutionists and vice-versa.

I suppose going out of ones way to carefully AVOID questions or comments about superstition wouldn't make sense either.

If some jerk came on here saying he was afraid of voices in his head & scared about monsters roasting him - most people would jump all over that.

But wait...he finishes his rant with the words "I'm a Christian".

Suddenly he's given a pass. Suddenly, his delusions and fears are justified - let's quietly back away & show his insanity some respect.

If I see anything defective, deceitful or irrational - I'm most likely going to recognize it (whether I make a mental note or choose to speak out about it).

I'm not going out of my way to force my beliefs on others (as Christians do). However, I don't see why I should tip-toe around issues based on someone being a Christian.

Maybe we should ask: Why Christians spend so much time bashing the world at large? Why do they insist that we should all live as they do? Why do I have to wait until Monday to go to the liquor store out of respect for thier boogeyman? Why are they allowed to intrude & push themselves on others at will & then cry about being rejected & persecuted when people deny them?

It's kind of hard to ignore such a pest. If Christians are so victimized & hurt by the things others say about them - maybe they should crawl back under their rocks & indulge in their insanity privately.

You can't push yourself on society & then run to mommy crying when society pushes you back.

Perhaps if a large and powerful group of people managed to get laws passed and school teaching altered and store hours dictated by their beliefs that there are monsters under the bed you might find yourself caring then. Or, perhaps not. Perhaps you live an isolated enough life that you wouldn't care one whit about that. Some of us begin to care more when our children begin to be affected by those laws, school teachings, etc.
