angiotensinogen is 452 amino acids long. after renin is activated it cleaves the Luecine and Valine bond in the first 12 amino acids. this leaves you with a 10 amino acid peptide. which then ACE interacts with angiotensin 1 one by removing the HIS and Leu amino acids at the end of the ten-amino acid peptide. It cannot interact with angiotensinogen because i'm guessing its too big.
