First thing you can try is hit the graph button, or if you are already at the graph, hit the [trace] button. on the left hand bottom corner, it should say X=0 or X= whatever and on the right bottom corner, it will say y= whatever. just type in 45 and hit enter, If a value comes up where the y is for your x, success, if you get the error screen, try this second way. after typing in the formula in the y= screen, hit [2nd] [graph] (this will take you to the table screen). there, you can get pretty much any real y values for real x values just by typing i your x value and hitting enter. If this doesn't work, i'm outta tips because those are the only ways I ever learned how to do it.
