ti 84 simple graphing function?

i used stat plot to plot 5 points and got the line to connect them. it's using real data, so not an exact formula for the line

how can i find an x value on the line it drew? like i want to know what exact value 45 is on the line stat plot drew using the 5 points i entered in stat

the line and points are in the graph, that's not the problem, but how do i find an exact x value on the line?

Update:

i need to find (45,?)

i need the y value so i can't use y=

Update 2:

i need an x= type of function/shortcut

Update 3:

i used stat plot then an option to connect the points, it's not a function, it's using real data

so i don't have a formula

ok, there are two ways to do this. First thing you can try is hit the graph button, or if you are already at the graph, hit the [trace] button. on the left hand bottom corner, it should say X=0 or X= whatever and on the right bottom corner, it will say y= whatever. just type in 45 and hit enter, If a value comes up where the y is for your x, success, if you get the error screen, try this second way. after typing in the formula in the y= screen, hit [2nd] [graph] (this will take you to the table screen). there, you can get pretty much any real y values for real x values just by typing i your x value and hitting enter. If this doesn't work, i'm outta tips because those are the only ways I ever learned how to do it.
