Best lake tahoe campground for tent camping with lake view?

BF and i going camping for our anniversary. We've decided on Lake Tahoe, but are unsure of what campground is the best with good lake views and a quick walk to the shore. We will be tent camping. And also if you can give rates if you've been to the campground b4, that would be really awesome. THANKS!

Best view is emerald bay, 2nd is DL Bliss and followed closely by camp richardson.

All around choice I would pick DL Bliss. I watched 4th of Jul;y fireworks from there and saw them all around the lake. Your also closer to emerald bay for some great hikes around the point.

Camp Richardson is close to town and the casino's so it is more of a party campground but it does have some great view's and nice beaches.

Reservations are a must and go quickly

    Good luck!

They have a tram that goes from the casinos in South Lake Tahoe to the top of the Heavenly Valley ski resort...a long time ago, my best friend and his wife got married at the top during the summer...as beautiful a view of nature as you'll ever see... Also, South Lake Tahoe is like a mini Vegas/Reno, with casinos and shows and such... You could also rent some mopeds and ride around the whole area, go boating on the lake, hiking in the woods, rent a cabin with a jacuzzi and make sweet love all night long...(also...North Lake Tahoe is the "setting" for the T.V. show Bonanza's Ranch...very scenic, as well...) No worries...other things will suggest themselves to you when you get there...(I grew up in Sacramento, so I'm very familiar with the area, having been there a million times snow skiing...also Squaw Valley is really cool...)

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv/ and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.
