Why are we forbidden to be proud of ourselves.?

Why is it frowned on to be 'patriotic' and believe your race is better than another. In INDIA they even have the 'cast system' where one won't talk to another unclean. Humanity began in AFRICA yet they are now starving. Should they not be further advance than Europe? Or are Europeans more Intelligent?

Gee, maybe Africa could rise up if Europe hadn't brought war to the nations and established boundaries and governments that were unfamiliar to the local populace and sabotaging any attempts at progress...

The caste system is illegal in India today.

Race is a social construction with some cultural distinctions. It only has meaning because we've decided it matters. We could just as easily decide it doesn't matter... That's what I hope for.

    You are such a troll.

There's nothing wrong with pride of your heritage. However, theres a thin line between pride and bigotry. The indian "cast system" you speak of for example. It isnt so much pride of your own kind, but rather on looking down on others.

The trick is to try and stay on the left of the thin line, rather than the right. ;)
