Yes, you'll need a paper that you can get from the Medicaid office that your doctor (or any other doctor) can sign saying she is pregnant.

The Health and Human Services Dept. is the place to go for this. Keep in mind, it'll be a while before all the paperwork goes through so make sure she eats healthy and takes her prenatal vitamins so when the doctor CAN see her, she's healthy and so is your baby. Good luck and congrats!

Yes, you will need proof of pregnancy to get medicaid. you can get this by going to a an OBGYN clinic and asking for a pregnancy test for proof of pregnancy. They'll do a pee test and then give you a paper saying when she's due and all that good stuff. i think for pregnancy medicaid they dont worry TOO MUCH about your income and all that. Once you get your medicaid, that should be enough to apply for wic and you'll automatically qualify if you have medicaid. hope this helped...ツ

yes you will need proof. She can ask her doctor or the nurse to give her a paper with her due date on it, that she can bring when applying. good luck and congrats.
