I need help finding my friend a set of tall boots?
My heavier friend is looking for a new set of tall field boots. She needs a 17.5" calf and a 18" height. Is there any place that makes boots in these upper sizes? She fits in Ariat half chaps, but not boots...
She's an 8.5/9 for her foot size (US)

That's the closest I can find.
You could always get some Ariats or whatever kind she likes and take them to be fixed so they will fit. And if you show a lot, it may just be easier to get some custom boots.
Hope this helps and good luck!

I feel your pain! I too have a much larger calf and finding boots is really difficult and frustrating. I found mine on E-Bay! E-bay has alot of boots and just make sure you know for sure what size your ordering. Good Luck with the Boot Search! Also, boots that have the zipper up the back make the experience of putting them on and taking them off SOO much easier!!

If I were you I would go to EBAY. Maybe buy a cheep pair then get them fixed at a shoe person. My mom had to have the calf bigger and the shoe person did wonderful! I REALLY would try ebay first though.
Good luck :)
