Should my 15 month old get his 15 month immunization shots while he still has a cold? (runny nose, no fever)

We were told that the baby couldn't get shots if he had a fever within the last 24 hours or has any chest congestion. It would probably be best to call your dr and ask though.

No. The immune system is busy wih a CURRENT infection, thus the shots will be slower working.

our dr made us wait two weeks to get over cold symptoms before getting shots
