she's only 10, she isn't over weight but she isn't rail thin. She is more towards the upper end of the bmi for her age and height but not over weight. her friends are of all different sizes but her 2 best friends are rail thin and not to be cruel but they aren't exactly "drop dead gorgeous" so she compares herself to them.

My daughter is just about to start on the last Harry Potter book so I need some recommendations for what she should read next please. She is 10 years old and loves the Harry potter books. She also loved the Narnia books. So some recommendations for similar type books would be appreciated.(SOME books she has already read are Alice in wonderland, through the looking glass, little house on the prairie, Anne of green gables, Charlotte's web, dear dumb dairy series, my sisters a vampire series, etc. )

my daughter made her school project and used spray glue to put paper onto a board. She used a bit too much and after 24 hours there are still sticky/wet spots. Is it going to dry any time soon??

you turn the key and it "bucks" and starts for a second then shuts off. All the lights, radio ect.. work fine. She has about 25,000km on her.

my daughter did an interview but she just took down jot notes instead of exactly what the person said so how do you type that up? how would you do it? you can't put quotations around what was said as it isn't an exact quote??!!

my sisters boyfriend committed an assault about 12 years ago and got 30 days in jail and he served his time on weekends. Now he is being charged again for assault and plea guilty. His sentencing hearing is tomorrow. Do you think he will get a longer jail sentence this time? They live in Canada if that makes any difference......

Both my husband and I are 5'8" . My mother and father where both short (about 5 feet tall) but my uncle , my mom's brother, was 6'7". My husbands mom was 5'2'' and his dad is 6'. My daughter is currently 10 years old and almost 4'8''. She has a lot of growing yet and I know she will be over 5 foot for sure.......

the wifi will be working fine sometime for hours sometimes days the suddenly stop working. The computer can pick up the wifi but can not connect. I have to turn it off then on then it works again. Is there a reason for this? It was working fine when we just had the 2 laptops but now we have 2 lap tops, 3 smart phones and an ipad. I went out and bought a new one but it never really made much difference.

i am taking care of my nephew and he is very different from my daughter. I know all children are different. My daughter at this age would sit with me and we would read books and play together. He just wants to run around and throw things, watch the same tv show over and over(ya I know turn it off but then he cries and screams). He has very little language where as my daughter at this age could talk in short sentences. He is different then what I am used to and I want to teach him a few things but he seems so disinterested. i have tried many different books of different subjects. How can I get him to listen and sit still?

... " rooted in education, growing for the future" , anyway my daughter is a grade 5 student and she has to write a speech with this theme in mind. She is stuck on what to write and I am also unsure. What are some good ideas to go with this theme. The speech has to be around 10 minutes. She is normally a very good writer and won first place in her grade last time.

I need something quick and easy to bring to a horseshoe tournament tomorrow. People are already bringing chili, soup , wings, meatballs, cake, blueberry muffins, and ham. It is up in the woods so it has to travel well because I won't have time to cook anything up to our cabin plus there is no electricity so it would be better and easier to make at home and bring with us. It is about an hours drive.

anyway she didn't know it was an expensive purse until I told her. Problem, she let her cats at it and it is in pretty rough shape. How much would it cost to fix?

my sister bought a prada purse at the second hand store. She had no idea what it was and just left it out for her cats to scratch up!! Anyway it is pretty damaged on top and the strap is hanging off. How much to fix it? Is it worth fixing? By the way believe it or not she got it for 1 dollar!

will the saltwater filter/pump get all the dirt out and if so how long would that take???

we are not aloud to use town water so we need to pump water from the river to our pool.The river is about 250-300 feet from our house. What type(HP) would that require??

I accidentally bought a large bag of puppy food today. I was in a hurry and just bought the brand I normally buy. When I got home I opened it and started to pour it into his bowl. I thought to myself the piece where small, so I read the bag and it was puppy food. Anyway it is open now so I can not return it. Will this hurt him? It is about a 3 week supply. He is a medium mixed breed dog(yellow lab and unknown )He is very healthy and active.
