pumped water from the river to our pool but the water is very dirty....?

will the saltwater filter/pump get all the dirt out and if so how long would that take???

    we have a salt water pool and fill it from the lake. You will need filters and you also need to shock the well with chlorine you buy from a pool and spa store

    the best way to solve your problem is to have two stages. one pump to a reserve( 55 100 or 200 gallon container) and let the dirt settle to the bottom then pump only from the top using a fine filter then flushing out the dirt back to the river.
