how long do it take for spray glue to completely dry?

my daughter made her school project and used spray glue to put paper onto a board. She used a bit too much and after 24 hours there are still sticky/wet spots. Is it going to dry any time soon??

Update:

can't redo it , it would take too long and we don't have another poster board to glue it onto, they cost $15 each .......

I would scrape any wet spots with a spatchula so air can get to it to dry but if its thick then it may look lumpy after you finish.

spray on glue dries quickly but it goes on thin not thick so starting over might give you a better finished look, if you need extra stick just let it dry and add more coats but you don't spray it thick or it skins over the surface and the air cant get under it to dry all the way

Also, you can speed up the drying of water-based glues especially by putting them in these conditions (and avoiding the opposite conditions):

    ...warm place

...place with good air circulation (even on a rack, and/or in front of a fan)

    ...dry place (not humid)

Your hair dryer might help speed up the process.
