We haven't borrowed any money from the IMF, and the debt China holds is mostly in T-Bills which don't have those kinds of strings attached.

My proposal is : lets sell California to China for $5 trillion.
It will solve a LOT of problems for the rest of us.

We will collect the trillions of dollars the rest of the world owes us. Just about every country owes money to another, many owe us, many.
