would you buy a romantic novel if it was written from the male's point of view?

Me and my friends are thinking about writing a romantic novel with short stories like chicken soup for the soul. we will write emotional and moving pieces.we will also have a audio cd come with the novel. Im going to call it "Love's Point of View".

That makes me think of the Songs of Solomon. I always enjoy reading it because you can tell when the girl writes and when the guy writes. The girl is a lot more elegant in her analogies and then Solomon will say things like, "Your hair is like a flock of goats and your teeth are like a flock of sheep." And then I laugh out loud.
