    Roman architecture borrowed a lot of elements from the Greeks but here are a few things the Romans innovated. The use of arches especially in aqueducts and bridges, the Romans were the first to build large lasting bridges, domes and vaulted ceilings, and the use of tile covered concrete in construction, they improved concrete and were able to make better use of it.
