Vikings fans out there...?
How many of you are frustrated with the offseason so far?
Not resigning Birk?
Not being able to land TJ Housh?
Only bringing in Sage and no other QBs?
And who knows what else could happen yet...

I am aggravated all of these factors. By this time last year in Free Agency, we had Bernard and Madieu. The Vikings are big spenders and we know Zygi likes to spend money, so why weren't we able to land Housh? The next best and worst option for the team would be Owens, and I am sure Childress wouldn't like that. Rosenfels? Are you kidding? You have a shot at Matt Cassel? Kurt Warner? And you choose Rosenfels? You have a shot a signing Matt Birk, yet you would rather him go to a team we have to play next year, and have even more questions? Sadly, there are more questions than answers for the Vikings. Our last shot to get a good QB would be to go after and trade for Jay Cutler, and maybe signing Owens. But of course, we won't and Childress will be scratching his head at the end of another season where if we are lucky make it to the first round of the playoffs and then get smashed by the Redskins, or the Eagles, or some dumb thing.

The Vikings certainly aren't helping themselves thus far in free agency. Birk is a big loss... but not paying T.J. may not be as bad as it seems... sure he would've helped the offense, but at what cost? Sage is by no means a good quarterback, he is an average quarterback who was mainly brought in to push Tavares Jackson and provide a mediocre back-up if need be. Getting Sage wasn't a bad move... not great, but not bad either.
We'll see how they do in the draft. Quarterback is still a big issue, but now they have a hole to fill at center too... and that defense isn't getting any younger. But I wouldn't count them out yet.

Typical Vikings! Looks like they are bombing with hopes of moving the team to LA. I hear there is a new stadium in Los Angeles being built and the seats are purple..... Makes you wonder what Zigi is up to?
