Which house to buy...please help?
My husband and I are looking to buy a house soon. Should we go with a townhouse in Mountain House with HOA dues. Better schools, but only a 4 yr old town. A ton of parks.Or buy a house in Tracy with no HOAS and a big backyard a possibly a pool. But some crime and ok schools.Possibly some gang activity also. We have a 1.5 year old baby, and plan for another on soon. Which would you chose?

You can always upgrade your house you cannot change the area. Go for the better area

I would go for the first one, if you have a young child and there is lots of crime in the second area.

it all depends if you guys can feel comfortable in one place than the other. gang activity is every ware so take that out. if you raise your kids right they wont get into that life stile.
