It is NO right now, but if you ask me again later, it might turn into a YES. Depending on my mood.

Happy Birthday to you! I hope everyone important who promised to come will come. Para happy ka.

It's more of a yes. No means no to me, so I'd rather say I don't know.

    Happy birthday!

My mabe is not closer to a yes or a no. It is at midpoint. I avoid saying maybe. In fact, if I am not sure, I just say I am not going. If I am able to go, I call and ask if there is till space for me.

Before anything else, "Happy2x B-day Choco Crunchies"

Maybe, I think may mean more of "yes" or more of "no" but seems always or if not always, most frequent on a "negative aspect".

    Herzlichen Glückwünsch zum Geburtstag !

When I do not want to say "NO" directly as not to offend, hurt, or annoy

somebody, I say "Maybe" or "I will think about it." So, it is a 100% No.

It means I'm not yet sure. 50% Yes and 50% No.

But I'm sure when I greet you "Maligayang Kaarawan!"
