Should I try to reschedule..? Is it serious?

I've had some sort of STD or infection for about 9 months now.

My symptoms are:

1. Yellow thick discharge, but sometimes it's orange, and rarely green - it's constant, like a period :\

2. Stinging during sex

3. Daily cramps

4. Irregular periods (I just started birth control; Yaz)

5. Itching (mostly at night)

6. Small fluid filled bumps on my inner labia (they sometimes pop...)

I've seen my doctor multiple times for it... but he finally referred me to an ob/gyn, but the appointment isn't for a month.

My boyfriend says it seems serious... especially since it's been going on for so long and thinks I should try rescheduling.

I've checked out Pelvic Inflammatory Disease & I have the symptoms... but I'm no doctor.

Do these symptoms sound serious? What do you think it is?

Update:

I haven't been sexually active for 5 months.

My boyfriend & I were both virgins before...

I have no idea what it is, but I agree with your boyfriend. That sounds pretty serious. Whatever it is you should try and reschedule your appt for a much closer time. Infections left untreated for a long period of time can lead to worse conditions

If there are BUMPS on your labia, you seriously need to get this checked out. It sounds likes are STD to me, and you should not ignore it.

I hate to tell you this, but it sounds like your boyfriend is a liar.

YES you need to get in asap. it sounds like a std and if it is a std then one of you are lying about your sexual past. that is the only way to contract a std.
