Kepler will be in an orbit around the sun called an "Earth-trailing orbit", meaning it will follow the Earth in its orbit around the sun. So its average distance from the sun is the same as the Earth's average distance from the sun - about 150 million kilometers.

DO you want to know the distance the telescope is from the sun or its orbital distance from earth?

Well its not orbiting the sun its orbiting earth so figure out the distance its orbiting the earth and then get distance we are from the sun at the moment and do the math.
