Good 17 inch Laptop for small business?
My Mom is looking for a laptop for her Business. Needs:
-Under 2500 dollars
-15+ inch screen
-250+ GB Hard-Drive
-Well made
-Made by Apple Hp Toshiba or Dell
She was thinking of the 17 inch MacBook Pro, she will need a big screen as she will be using it to view presentations. She also would want it as small as it will get (For the 17 inches too.) Light, portable and good looking are necessities. She would also like a back-lit logo, Apple for example. Any feedback appreciated! Thanks!

I recommend the mac book pro. I have a macbook and am loving it. It doesnt have many problems. The main problem people have with them is that they are not that good for business but you can get her either Microsoft office for mac which cost about 150-400 dollars whether u a student or if it for work or she can use iwork whcih is about 70 dollars and is good for presentations.

i might purchase a Toshiba, Dell, or HP. they are quite often stable for those jobs. If she does have a pc then those following might help. If she has domicile windows xp i might get expert version. If shes have been given vista or later i might improve to enterprise or terrific. i might propose the enterprise version however. Its greater cost-effective than terrific with a stable protection. Or she will request a linux from ubuntu and run it as a secondary equipment on that pc if it meets the standards and has sufficient room.

I personally recommend the HP Pavilion dv7t series: http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/compute...
It is cheaper and has better specs than the MacBook Pro, but it doesn't have a backlit logo, but the color options are great looking.
