Powerpoint help please?

I'm doing a geography project in which you have to make a powerpoint about an oil spill; the Sea Empress oil disaster to be specific. But the point is that i want to take a snippet of a video on youtube and use the sound. Here is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qk9Ny7Tme2Y

If you could tell me how to extract particular parts of the video's soundtrack (or whatever it's called) and put them in a powerpoint presentation.

I think you could do following steps:

    1. first download this video using http://www.keepvid.com/

    2. then convert it to desired format (mp3) by following program:

Total video converter ( It's able to capture audio of the a movie )

Download the portable version from here:

    3. now put the sound file in your presentation using insert menu of Powerpoint :)

    hope it works

www.vixy.net provides a converter for .flv files. You must input the URL of the video and choose MP3 (audio only) in the "converts to" box. This will give you just the audio from your YouTube video. If you need to edit the audio in any way, you can use Audacity, which I believe you can get from download.com. Then, you will just need to insert your audio file into your powerpoint presentation.
