This is great for nails! Take [red] grapes/cut them in half. After doing so dip with cut part into sugar. Then rub onto finger nails and around them for a new nail glow! It works really well. And it removes dead skin, and hang nails. Try it :]

Ginger - one of the best antiemitics (and agent that reduces nausea) available - not just according to me, but according to the American Medical Association - which says that its more effective than compuzine (the most commonly prescribed antiemetic for chemotherapy patients)

You can look up many of the herbal remedies you hear of here - this is the National Library of Medicines search engine - it includes peer reviewed studies with natural remedies, and complimentary therapies such as yoga, tai chi, etc.

If you would like to look up an herb, use the latin name (which can usually be found on google)

Ginger is Zingiber officinale, if you would like to take a look

    Here's PubMed

Source(s): Ah - here is an interesting one - ginger is as effective as ibuprofen, and metafumeric acid (an RX drug) in the treatrment of menstral cramps.... http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19216660?ordina...
