Is it better to visit Park City, Utah in December or February for a ski/snowboarding trip?

A family friend just moved out to Salt Lake City and have invited us to visit anytime we want. I have school breaks at Christmas time and late February, and was wondering which time is a better time, factoring in ski conditions/weather, general airfare prices from NYC, and crowds. Also which are the best places to ski/board, as some of the family skis, and other snowboard.

Thanks

You would be better off to come in Feb. Christmas is always busy. The snow is deeper in February, and there are fewer people on the mountains because they are getting sick of winter by then.

Brighton is great if you want to ski and board. The Canyons is great as well. If you want a smaller non tourist type resort try Beaver Mountain near Logan. It is smaller, but not very much $$$ and never crowded

Dude skiing in April is the terrific. Its extra of a occasion than something. Make some runs. Have a lager. Goof off. Sleep in. The snow is all delicate and moist and makes for a brilliant time. do not pay attention to those that do unlike slush. They probable never broken their helmet on January ice like I even have. flow have exciting.
