Is ebay's policy of not allowing US currency as a method of payment legal?

If it isnt legal as I suspect, I am searching for a lawyer or team of lawyers to take on a potential class action lawsuit against ebay.

I am not alone in having my listings removed because we refuse to have credit cards be the only way to pay.

US Currency cannot be refused for the payment of a debt. When you pay on ebay you are buying something, not repaying a debt, so currency can be refused.

Ebay is a private business. They set the terms for doing business with them. If you don't believe me walk into a 7-11 convenience store one night at 1am with a $100 bill and try buying a pack of cigarettes and a Big Gulp. You'll find that $100 bill is worthless.
