Is ebay's policy of not allowing US currency as a method of payment legal?
If it isnt legal as I suspect, I am searching for a lawyer or team of lawyers to take on a potential class action lawsuit against ebay.
I am not alone in having my listings removed because we refuse to have credit cards be the only way to pay.

I have a laptop on its last legs hard drive. It will boot up to windows one last time or two.
The cd drawer will not write nor read cd's.
Can I hook up a double sided usb cable from the almost dead laptop to my new desktop and transfer software and files.
It is important that I be able to transfer both the software and the files that are contained to go with them.
Does the almost dead laptop have to be powered up in order to do this?
Any other help that I have not thought of would also be appreciated.
