Unfortunately, the only ones who will be ripping you apart are your friends.

My theory is "Friends don't let friends go to hell" sounds like only true friends risk offending you for your own good. Why would you even take a chance on such a serious matter as eternity, the bible states "A fool says in his heart there is no God" Don't wait til its too late to find out, get a bible and search the truth for yourself. People who comment so "Against God" are really the ones who are the most afraid and frightenend by the fact of eternity. And Yes God is Loving and kind, that is why He wants to reveal Himself to a lost and hurting world, and ignorance is not bliss, from the comments you recieved there are some truly frightened ,only uninformed well meaning people

Isn't that the million dollar question. If we know what happened after death then there would be one religion and you would know the answer. It is true that some religions that preach that, but there are others that teach that anyone who has lead a good life you will be fine. If you are unsure about the whole god thing then look into different religions, you may find more faith then you thought you had.

One cannot make generalizations about religions. Some people, of some faiths, including sects within all the major faiths, would say YES, you will go to Hell for all time for not believing.
But millions and millions of faithful Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddists would say otherwise. Not everyone takes the sacred scriptures of their religion in their most literal form.

That's silly.
Your friends are basically threatening you to believe in god.
If the whole point in believing in god is to AVOID being 'ripped to shreds for all eternity' after you die, then what's the point? Why would you believe in a god who would destroy you for not sticking up for what you believe in?
It's a paradox, if you ask me.
No, you won't be ripped to shreds if you don't believe in god. Your friends, on the other hand, will be very upset when they realize they've wasted their lives away for no reason whatsoever.

now really lets be serious here. who do you think created earth? how about life? everything was created by the almighty god. yes he is real heaven and hell are also real. if you do not believe in him you will be tortured for eternity. and have you ever heard of moses? he led the jews away from the egyptions. he split, i believe, an ocean so he, and the jews, can escape from egypt. now sit down and ask yourself how did he do this? everything, once again, was created by god. all you have to do is believe

In all reality, that is entirely possible. Seeing as how no one has ever returned from hell and given a personal account of what its like, it is not certain exactly what happens, but yes, many times in the Bible it is stated that their will be everlasting torment and that those who do not have their names written in the book of life will be cast into a lake of fire; which is pretty terrible.
For the record, just because you don't believe in something doesn't mean it won't affect you. I could say that I don't believe in gravity, but lookee here, I'm affected by it...

there telling you this its a control issue tactic that these people use for worshiping artifacts and air because they have a small mind and need religion as a refuge for there own validation in order to feel the void in there lives for not understanding there own existence how ignorance is he who claims to knows all but knows nothing of himself.
Religion is a cancer that eventually eats the brains ability to reason.
not to mention its designed as a money maker

scare tactics.
don't listen to that nonsense, believe in what you want but don't let that direct your decision.
personally i kinda believe the theory that the universe is ever expanding and that eventually all atoms and even protons will be ripped apart! That includes whatever we were once made out of and I don't think believing in a god is going to change that.

Look, just investigate Jesus and find out that He is the lover of your soul and came to this world to die on your behalf. You are guilty of breaking God's laws, you know that you've done wrong. Jesus was sent by the Father to suffer on your behalf and take you judgement upon Himself. He was raised and lies now.
Consider Him and make Him your Lord and Savior. He will come to you and the Holy Spirit will indwell you. Get serious about Jesus.

yes it is true "do the thing you fear most and the death of fear is certain" meaning if u sin and don't ask god for forgiveness you will die and you will have eternal damnation. meaning forever ever you will burn in the fiery pits of hell, with pain and suffering. If you ask for forgiveness and do the things god asks you will go to heaven and live eternity with him and sing praises to him and walk upon streets of gold and everything perfect. and nothing is wrong no pain no suffering nothing but peace and joy.I hope this helps.
