Who decided that letters of paul are scripture.?
And on what authority? Did paul himself ever claimed that his letters are scriptures?
where did paul claimed it to be scripture? any reference from his letters?
Robert: Who claimed that holy spirit guided them. Did those guys in council of nicea claimed that holy spirit guided them? Also, how do you confirm that it was not satan rather than holy spirit? is there any criterian to judge?
SAMI, my question is still not answered. first of all paul was only self proclaimed apostle. There is no proof that he ever met Jesus. According his own claim he was hostile to christians. From what authority they added these letters in the bible.

Can you imagine, even with all the back and forth about Paul with you guys, it has *never* occurred to me who decided his letters counted as scripture. I can't wait for a decent answer. I'll ask my mom and edit if the q is still open, but it won't be for a while, sorry.

Paul was the Apostle of Jesus.He sciptured many letters to many churches and the addresses were the most devout Christians. That is how Paul`s letters became a part of Bible.

I have to side with you on that one happily happy, from those responsible in the beginning of this belief to the present day doctors of divinity in the christian world have a lot to answer for before their lord for allowing this "tradition" to continue. No anthropomorphic image of any man should be worshipped as is reiterated in their own Bible in the Old testiment, they (the christians) just don't get it

the holy spirit guided the church in the 4th. century to choose the books that would make up the bible, all 72 of them, yes 72

The present day new testament - which gospels, etc.. was decided in The First Council of Nicea in 325AD.

Jesus Christ. Trust me if they weren't scripture,they would not have been in the Holy Bible.
