Do you think Australia has found the correct players to dominate the Test cricket again?
They struggled against the indians and proteas. But again they have begun to show still they are best. After the Mcgrath, Warne, Martin, Langer, Hayden and Gilchrist, they have found youngsters like Johnson, Siddle, Hughes, Haddin (not an youngster), North. Also Ponting, Clark, Hussey and Katich still in good form and few years to play.

I confess that Australia's performance in South Africa has been a surprise, given that they were soundly beaten in their last 2 series as you rightly state. The improvement has been pronounced, especially in their pace bowling. However, given the strengths of India, Sri Lanka, and still RSA, "domination" as you put it is unlikely.
I think that we are in for a very interesting time over the next few years!

No, it may be very puzzling for the more youthful guns to finish at a element of all-time greats like Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Steve Waugh, Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden etc.etc. The youthful expertise is extremely solid and they are going to marvel each and every person with the variety of skill they could reveal on their day yet accepted the brutality with which the previous Australian area used to trash warring parties would under no circumstances come. They were particularly an all time best area which made information once they lost even a unmarried tournament. Now dropping a series is likewise no longer a huge component as human beings anticipate this dip in performance from a youthful team. yet an additional reason for them no longer dominating is that having any such gaggle of all time tremendous gamers in a unmarried team together will be particularly uncommon. a million-2 of the present lot would bypass on to become an all time tremendous yet having 5 or 6 of them is totally no longer achieveable. And to operate that Ricky Ponting's inevitable retirement would go away a huge hollow of their batting.

For me you left out Hilfenhaus, there are a couple of other young quicks that aren't far away either. I think if the Aussies can find another bat they will be well on the way to another dynasty.
I am a little worried about the form of Hussey.
It is an exciting time for the Aussies and the Ashes series will be a ripper as I expect the Poms to bounce back as Andrew Strauss is showing the way on some placid Carribean pitches.
After this test the boys from Oz will have won three on the trot!

Yes you are right. North and Hughes are really talented players. Not to list out McDonald. But what I feel is Ponting should retire from ODI and T20. His focus should be more on Tests. Aus team needs his batting much in tests. Kudos Aussies

For once the selectors have got it right. For the last few years they have stuck with their tried and true and they haven't worked. Now they have made these positive changes. So yes they are on the rise again.
Cricket M, it;s not one matcyh. Should Australia win this one, it will be three tests on the trot. India is not number one and will never be number one until they canconsistently beat good sides away from India..

Yes they may have but they won't dominate as much as they used do because their replacements aren't as good as Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath and Hayden.
