How can we help Republicans overcome their fear and disappointment over having a black man as their president?

Judging from the the comments I see on Yahoo! Answers, they really need some help.

They will never get over that they lost to a black man. They are users. They use Palin and now Steele because he's black. GOP is beyond help unless they start listening and including minorities. It's clear that their old way of thinking isn't working. That's why president Obama won. Plus the last eight years of failure. @~

They tossed this idea back and forth on the "talking heads" style news shows a while back and it seems likely that part of the reason for choosing him was a sense in the republican party that they were failing to reach out to blacks like they had in the past. There is somewhat of a possibility that the idea of the Republicans being the "party of Lincoln" and the Democrats being the party of the South has somewhat faded from the view of blacks as more recent history has shown the Democratic Party to be more favorable to their priorities.

They have Michael Steele as their Chairman but maybe the GOP needs a Man or Woman to Instead of Following Rush but to have People Follow Him or Her, you see the Liberals have the Conservatives Beat and Why because they don't rely upon Talk Radio They rely Upon Government, well The GOP needs to wake up and go back to what make them Strong and who makes them Weak.

Sorry but I'm not disappointed that Obama is our president, you have to realize in your lifetime you will win some and loose some. Fearful, YES I AM! As for him being black what in the world does that have to do with anything??? And, he's only half white!

  • Why is it that people like you continue to see Obama as a black man when he himself has said his black father abandoned him like 80% of all the other black fathers out there and Jesse Jackson Sr. said on an open mic he "should be castrated" for such a comment? What is that called?

Why do Democrats always bring race up when Obama is really screwing things up badly???

Republicans don't even talk about that.

The only color that Republicans are talking about now is RED INK.

The country is drowning in DEBT thanks to Owe-Bama.

In SIX WEEKS, Owe-Bama has gotten this country into MORE DEBT than all 43 presidents that have gone before him from George Washington through George Bush.

Owe-bama is still b^tching about the debt that he "inherited," but he has now personally been responsible for EIGHT times that in six weeks.

    He is DELUSIONAL.

This crisis belongs to Owe-Bama and no one else.

He OWNS it and makes it WORSE every day, in every way.

Why is it that the only time it's mentioned that the President is black is when there is a liberal trying to accuse republicans of racism? Seems like the democrats are caught up on the issue, not the republicans.

Obama is biracial. Black men don't have white mothers.
