This may be TMI but I have a question about the 4 miscarriages I have had?

3 out of 4 happened when I was on the toilet trying to go #2..... And this last time I was pregnant at 15 weeks and 3 or 4 days I was on the toilet and wiped there was a little blood coming from my vagina and was having cramps so I got scared went to the hospital they said only thing wrong with me was a urinary tract infection.... when I left the hospital I had the worse pains of my life which I now know were contractions!! I just took the pain meds they gave me though until the next night I felt I had to go #2 again.... when I began to push it was just a gush of blood an that's when the miscarriage occurred which that is kind of similiar to the other miscarriages but never so much blood and the other times I was not as far along

Sorry if this was graphic but I am just confused on why it always happens to me and now I am scared to go to the bathroom if/HOPEFULLY when I get pregnant next time...

Going #2 won't cause a miscarriage, it is more likely that you were having a miscarriage that caused some pressure on your bowels and you felt you had to go #2.

I'd sue that hospital. What kind of ignorant morons can't recognize signs of a miscarriage especially if you've had a history of them???

i have had 5 miscarriages and they are not fun at all they hurt really. if you have not seen a doctor I would say that you should go see a fertility specialist and they can run tests to find out why you ncantt hold a pregnancy. my aunt had the same problem and they found out it was something that she had to have a small surgery on and she had the surgery and now has a 8 year old son. i have had so many because i am very fertile and had them while I had a IUD in place that caused the miscarriage each time I didnt know I was pregnant until the last one then i just had the Iud removed and I became pregnant and am 25 weeks pregnant with a baby girl.

It's not because your using the bathroom. It's just coming out then because your pushing. Most miscarriages if there going to happen there is NO way to stop them. But since you were 15 weeks with this one I'd have them do some tests on your cervix to make sure it's not weak.

Going to the bathroom does not cause the miscarriage. Since you are applying pressure (number two and all), I am sure thats why it happens right then and there. Have you been seeing the same doctor? Because after 3 miscarriages they should have done further testing as to why you are experiencing these. I am sorry for your losses. For your next pregnancy make sure you are in the hands of a great doctor, and maybe consider taking time off from work. Good luck!

Im so sorry about your losses. Since you have a history of miscarriages in the beginning of your pregnancies (?) maybe you could ask your dr. about progesterone shots to deter the chance of another miscarriage. And have faith that God will give you a successful pregnancy. Without faith, it wont happen.

I am so sorry for your losses.

But going #2 does not cause miscarriages.

Talk to your doctor about these reoccurrant miscarriage you are having. They can run some tests.

Are you useful you're no longer constipated? or you've hemorrhoids? in case you're nervous call your physician. I had 4 miscarriages and by no ability had any anal cramping. So, i'm uncertain.

There has to be a reason. Maybe you have an incompetent cervix. If that's the case they can give you a circlage. Ask your doc.

YOU need to talk to your doctor, not us. Something there is NOT right, 15 weeks is like kinda far along to lose a baby. Thats so horrible.

Wow, that would give me a serious phobia of going to the bathroom!

Honestly, ask your doctor. Maybe the embryos are not implanting well, making them more vulnerable to detaching? I really don't know...
