how to deal with a liar?
my friend makes up stories all the time to make herself seem smarter and cooler, she makes up boyfriends, lies about school grades, lies about things that happen to her and place she goes.
she once said that her brothers finance died a week before the wedding, but her brother never had a finance.
My friends and i know she lies buts its hard to catch her out because she hangs out with 2 separate groups of friends (us and water polo friends)
we are all getting really pissed about it
is there any way to confront her without ruining our friendship?

Tell her she doesn't need to make stuff up to seem interesting or gain sympathy or attention. Tell her clean start and give her a hug.

ahh. I'd just straight up confront her. But don't tell her while you're getting worked up.
Keep calm while explaining to her that her lies just get really annoying. Tell her you don't see a reason why she should be lying.
My cousins and I had to confront someone about her lying too and we just explained how we felt about her lying to us. It just kinda felt like she didn't trust us or something.

well, do you think this friend so important to you ? i mean are you close enough? No just ignore what she said and pretend you listening soon or later she will stop . Yes, just listen and try to ask back wheter what she said is correct. Or just pretend you belive. never show your anger to her.
