What kinds of pain reief are there?

I am allergic to morphine. I worry that if I had a terrible illness, accident, operation - and needed strong pain relief I would not be able to have morphine and I don't know if there is anything else? Is there and if so what?

Having an allergy to morphine just means that you can not have anything related to morphine. It does not preclude you from having adequate pain relief. There are plenty of pain medications available for opiate/opioid allergic patients which will provide relief from severe pain.

Get yourself a glass bottle and you know what to do with it...
