Is Russia a danger to it's neighboring countries?

I'm watching the situation in Russia from a neighbouring country (Finland).

Since Putin came to power, Russia has become increasingly arrogant and chauvinist towards a number of it's neighbouring countries. With all the oil and gas money, the old Soviet-style bullying behavior seems to be back.

In Russia, many people seem to support the slogan "Russia for Russians" (whatever that means, I always thought Russia was a multi-ethnic country) and even support the "returning of the borders of the Imperial Russia", which would effectively mean a Third World War starting in Europe!

What is even worse, Russians themselves don't seem to find anything wrong in this. Do Russians really want these kinds of things? Do Russians really want to invade their neighbors and oppress them into submission? If so, how does all this differ from what Nazi Germany did?

I'm deeply worried by this situation. Will my family die in a war against Russia in the future? I really do ask myself this question more than often these days.

Do yourself a favor and stop worrying about those things. If you're living under a constant fear of Russia starting the war then why not move to some other country?

Russia has always been arrogant in its policies but it's in no way different from America. When Russia does something, then it's ultimately always such a bad thing, but when USA does something then it's always justified.

Russia has been quiet and ignored by others but now they just want to make their point of view more audible just like any other superpower would. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

What's been happening in Russia is in no way new because they've always had that sort of strict way of doing things.
