What are some good hairstyles for chin length pseudo-scene hair?

Question

My hair is platinum blond and a little longer than chin length in places.  I'm growing it out but could really do for a trim and a new style.  I'd also like some low lights.  I'm going to the stylist Saturday and I don't like showing up without at least the faintest idea of what I'm looking for. Any suggestions aside from an inverted bob (that's prett much how it is now)?  I'm looking for pseudo-scene/edgy styles. Pictures get best answer. thank you in advance.

I prefer brunette over blondes and it doesn't matter to me personally if the hair is curly or even not

That really will depend on the individual, some people may color there hair Blonde and seem very nice, the same with Black. It all truly depends on your own skin tone
