    Maspero's on Decatur- Great food!

Edit: I have never heard of Razoo chain rest. I am from New Orleans. razoo's is a night club on Bourbon.

The Brennan family is what the other answerer is referring to. They have a few rest. but as with Comanders Palace, they are all expensive. So if you are looking for inexpensive, don't go there. You could also go to Deenie's Seafood in Bucktown, Mother's on Poydras, Cafe DuMonde for coffee and beniegts, Central Grocery for a Muffelatta.

Maspero's on Decatur , casual,- good prices, wait staff looks like they are stuck inthe Sixties.

Deanies or R &O's in Bucktown is great as well Smitty's Two Crabs out in Kenner

I also like Mandina's on Canal for a fried oyster Po Boy, Central Grocery in the French Quarter for a REAL muffaleta.Good thing about New Orleans there are good places to eat everywhere, small family owned places beat out chains everytime

In Texas, DFW area Razoo's is a chain of Restaurants

Commanders Palace, its an amazing place a bit costly but if you people are coming from abroad that have to eat one meal there. Any of the Breniam (Spelling might be wrong) Family own restaurants are good too. I have not been back in years but there are mostly locally owned restaurants in the french Quarters, Garden District that are all good. Just stay away from places like Razzoo the food is fine but its a big chain that you can get in other places in the US.

New Orleans is loaded with great restaurants. The best are French or Cajun style, because you can't find this food easily other places.

How about Galatoire's. They've been serving the same classic food forever.
