    Dave Mustaine?

At the very least the guy seems to generate Drama wherever he goes.

Thow in a few drunken brawls, rehab and drugged out rages...... and well, it'll be better than the last few action fliks Hollywood has churned out.

And the Soundtrack would be killer.

***Honestly, truth to tell, I think the Rockstars whose life would make good Movies are pretty few and far between. Not many people truly led as colorful a lives as Jim Morrison, or Johnny Cash and the like, so honestly, I cna think of few listed here, including Dave I would actually give a rats butt about.

I mean, so many of the musicians we love are great, but as musicians. I honestly don't see anything filmworthy about Cobain, Dime, Burton, Layne, etc, other thatn their lives ended in tragedy. But most of what they did while alive was simply take drugs, get drunk and make music. To me, that is not very compelling drama.

I am waiting to see if someone comes up with someone that actually IS compelling, instead of just a fan listing their favorite musicians.

Though I am sure the current Itineration of Madonna wcould make a good horror movie. (whatever happened to the one in the 80s?)

*****Golly gee, looked like I pissed in somebodies Cheerios this morning. How dare I point at that most of their precious rockstars were less than exciting as people... oh dear.... anyone gonna need some razor blades and MCR albums while they cry cuz I said Cobain or (fill in hyped up dead celebrity name here) was not movie worhty?

Dave Mustaine is a very strong call. There's enough history, psychosis and violence to make that a worthwhile project. I'd pay to see that.

Anthony Kiedis, and we can call it the movie version of the book Scar Tissue. Probably would be close to soft porn.

Trent Reznor. Since the world still knows virtually very little about this icon, I'd like to see something of an unauthorized biographical approach taken. Sort of like the stuff that Kitty Kelley has written about various celebs.

Not an actual rock star but someone like Clive Davis or Jerry Wexler would be interesting,

    Either them or Billy Idol.

There has been talk about a Freddie Mercury movie, but we'll see if it happens.

I wish I could think of a more original one, but no one else is coming to mind right now. Freddie's story would be interesting nonetheless. His family had to escape a war in Zanzibar, he lived a crazy life, and they toured places like Asia and South America that most other bands turned their noses up at.

After reading his autobiography, Eric Clapton's life would make a great movie!

He's had so many highs and lows in his life that Hollywood couldn't write a better or more interesting script and EVERYONE knows him!

The only other answer I see above that would interest me is Frank Zappa.

Freddie Mercury, Nope, haven't we had enough with the gay movies already?

John Lennon. He was a complicated person, and he lived a very interesting life. I got my hands on "The Lost Lennon Interviews," a book written by Giuliano. When I read this, I was floored.

Jim Morrison, with no involvement from Oliver Stone...that would make it factual.

Shannon Hoon, his last days would be compelling. He was gotten out of rehab by the record execs for their tour. So, in dealing with not using heroine he OD'd on cocaine. :(

Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Bon Scott and John Bonham would also be worthy of watching if done correctly.
