if WVU were to win the big east tourney title. they would have to beat 3 top 5 teams in 3 nights?
theoretically would it be easier for WVU to win the NCAA tourney than to win the Big East tournament?
if the higher seeds continue to win wvu would play Notre Dame #2 Pitt #5 Uconn , #3 Louisville in 4 nights. even if louisville got upset it would be # 10 Villanova
i am just putting some perspective on it and its EXTREMELY UNLIKELY but where would a run like that rank??
off the top of my head the 1985 villanova run as a no 7 seed in the ncaa
wvu has been a ncaa lock since they beat 10th ranked villanova by 2 weeks ago. wvu is 2 - 3pt heartbreakers to cincy and louisville away from winning their last 10 games
i'm counting the orange out. they have been playing better than uconn the last 2 or 3 weeks
i know its a pipe dream and probably wont happen but...... :)

Yeah it would be a great run, but don't get too ahead of yourself, we have only beaten one of those three so far. Though I am rooting for us to win, I am also kind of afraid that a long Big East run will tire the players out and ruin our chances at the NCAA tourney, the one that counts. But, yes beating three top-five teams would just be ridiculous.

Don't count Syracuse out! If WVU can upset PITT, then its still possible you'll be playing #20 Syracuse instead of UCONN. But it the Mountaineers did win this whole Big East Tourney, they would have moved up from a possible dropout of the NCAA Tourney to a 3rd or 4th seed in the Big Dance. Even with this win against PITT they are already a lock for the NCAA Tournament. All thanks to Ebanks!!!

Still Georgia's run last year would be better.
